CallSignLookup

About CallSignLookup

CallSignLookup is an independent directory of FCC licenses built on the public Universal Licensing System (ULS) data published by the Federal Communications Commission. Our goal is to make it easy for anyone to look up any FCC licensee in the United States — whether you're searching for a ham radio operator by call sign, checking the status of a GMRS license, researching a ship or aircraft, or exploring who holds licenses in your area.

What We Index

We index licenses across all major FCC radio service categories from the ULS bulk data files — including amateur radio, GMRS, maritime, aircraft, land mobile (private and commercial), microwave, paging, cellular, and more. That's over 4 million license records covering active, expired, cancelled, and pending licenses. Each record includes the licensee's call sign, name or organization, location, grant and expiration dates, and service-specific details.

Data Source

All data comes from the FCC's publicly available ULS bulk data downloads. The FCC publishes weekly full snapshots and daily incremental updates for every radio service. For the authoritative source, visit the FCC ULS data download page.
